ICC Sports Information Department earns three CPRAM awards

FULTON, MS -- The Itawamba Community College Sports Information Department earned three awards, including two first-places, at the 2013 College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) Annual Conference in Gulfport on Tuesday.
ICC Assistant Sports Information Director, Adam Gore earned first-place honors for the college's athletic website "LetsGoICC.com" while teaming up with Sports Information Director Will Kollmeyer to garner first-place accolades for their broadcast of the ICC at Northwest Mississippi Community College basketball games along with the athletic twitter account "@LetsGoICC" earning third place honors, tops amongst twitter honorees, in the new media/social media category.
Overall, the seven-person staff of the ICC Public Relations Department earned seven CPRAM awards at this year's conference.
"This just shows that all of our hard work and many hours promoting ICC is paying off," said Kollmeyer, who is also the director of Marketing and Public Relations at ICC.
