Itawamba Community College head football coach Jon Williams announced at a Wednesday afternoon press conference at the Davis Event Center that 42 high school players from all across the state of Mississippi signed with the Indians on National Signing Day.

"Overall, it was a great day to be an Indian," said Williams. "I feel like we did a great job bringing in guys that fit our needs and more than anything fit the mission here at ICC."

The day was highlighted by six players signing from MHSAA Class 4A champion Lafayette County High School along with Amory High School standout quarterback Forest Williams and Oak Grove offensive lineman Tony Holmes, brother of former ICC All-American Lamar Holmes.

"We had a number of guys from around the area and even some outside the area that we are glad to have inside the ICC family," Williams said about his 2012 recruiting class.
