Indians explode for 12 runs to defeat Co-Lin in Game One

WESSON, Miss. – LaBryant Siddell (Belden) and Justin Medlin(Ripley) led an offensive explosion in game one combining for nine RBI and six hits in the Indians 12-2 run-rule win over Co-Lin Saturday.

The Indians (27-12, 13-10) plated their 12 runs on 12 hits and took advantage of two Co-Lin errors, and of their dozen hits, Siddell had four as he went 4-for-5 with 4 RBI and a pair of doubles. Medlin went 2-for-5 but picked up 5 RBI courtesy of a 3-run home run, solo home run and driving a run in on ground out.

Kyle Crigger(Corinth), Russell Bunch(Saltillo), Jackson Lancaster(Corinth) and Hunter Nabors(Montevallo, Ala.) drove in runs and Nabors crossed the plate three times for the Tribe.

With the offensive explosion, starting pitcher, Kris Peet (Olive Branch) had plenty of run support and picked up the win to improve to 5-2 this season by throwing three and third and striking out six.
