No. 19 Indians power their way to a 8-2 win over Northwest

SENATOBIA, Miss. – The No. 19 Indians hung 15 hits on Northwest led by a 4-for-5 performance by Hunter Nabors(Montevallo, Ala.) to pick up an 8-2 game one road win over Northwest Tuesday.

Nabors finished a triple shy of the cycle as he picked up two RBI with a double, home run and a pair of singles. 

LaBryant Siddell(Belden) added to the hit parade going 3-for-3 with a RBI, Jackson Lancaster(Corinth) added three hits with an RBI and a double and Kyle Crigger(Corinth) added a pair of singles and two RBI.

The Indians (21-8, 7-6 MACJC) scored first in what was tight game for the first five frames and then scored all eight runs over three innings with one in the fifth, two in the sixth and five in the seventh.

Hunter Hughes(Saltillo) took advantage of the run support as he picked up the win from the hill throwing seven innings and allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out five.

Cirgger took over pitching duties in the eighth and closed out the game for the Indians in the non-save situation.
