ELLISVILLE, MS – An impressive pitching performance by the No. 1 Jones County Junior College pitching staff lead them to a 10-0 run-rule win over No. 7 Itawamba Community College in game two to earn the doubleheader sweep.

The Indians (21-7, 8-4 MACJC) were held to only two hits as the Bobcats rattled off nine hits and pushed across 10 runs.

Ben Seay (Mooreville) and Tyreque Reed (Houlka) picked up the Indians only hits I the contest and Jones' Logan Robbins went the distance to improve to 8-0 this season.

Jones scored three runs in the first, second and fifth innings and added one in the third to pick up the 10-0 victory in five innings.

The Indians return home on Tuesday as they host Northwest Mississippi Community College at 3 p.m.
