Zinn named to BaseballAmerica.com Top 500 MLB prospects

FULTON, MS – Freshman shortstop Delvin Zinn has been listed amongst the Top 500 MLB Draft prospects in the eyes of BaseballAmerica.com
Zinn is rated as the No. 232 overall prospect and the No. 9 prospect in Mississippi. He was drafted in the 28th round of the 2015 MLB Draft as they 833rd overall pick by the Chicago Cubs.
The Pontotoc native finished the season leading the Indians with 72 hits in the leadoff position while stealing a team-best seven bases. He was second amongst players with more than 100 at-bats with a .411 batting average and was second on the team with a .464 on-base percentage. He finished the season with 34 RBI in a team-high 175 at-bats.
During the season, Zinn only had six of 45 games played without a hit and had 16 games with multiple hits.
