FULTON, MS – A pair of ICC baseball players earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) academic honors when the organizations announced their postseason awards.

Tupelo's Ben Aldridge (3.69 GPA) earned the NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award and was named MACJC Academic All-State along with fellow sophomore Drew Wheeler (3.53) of Mooreville.

Aldridge, an Arkansas-Monticello signee,
went 4-6 with 2 saves along with a 5.37 ERA and a 9.60 fielding percentage in his final season with the Indians. He was second on the team with 50 strikeouts in 55.1 innings pitched.

Wheeler, a Mississippi Valley State signee, batted .302 with .400 on-base and .388 slugging percentages along with 25 RBI, 6 doubles and 2 home runs in 139 at-bats during his sophomore campaign.
