FULTON, MS – The ICC baseball team have been looking for a spark to turn their season around and they may have found it after a 4-1 Game 2 victory over the nation's No. 1 team Jones County Junior College on Saturday.

ICC picked up an insurance run when Poole doubled to left and Anthony Mallard (Verona) beat the throw home to put the Indians up 4-0 in the fourth.

Trailing 4-1, the top-ranked Bobcats (29-4, 9-3 MACJC South) saw relief pitcher Ben Aldridge (Tupelo) strand runners in scoring position in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to pick up the save after striking out six batters in four innings of work.

Freshman T.J. Watson (Dallas, GA) scattered two hits in three innings of scoreless baseball to pick up the win.
