DECATUR, AL - The Indians took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Drew Wheeler (Mooreville) scored on a single by Tanner Poole (Amory) but Calhoun answered with a run to tie the game in the bottom half of the inning.

ICC answered back in the top of the second when Russ Johnson (Hatley) stole home to give the Indians a 2-1 lead before Calhoun pushed across a pair of runs in the bottom half of the second to go up 3-2.

The Indians held Calhoun hitless, but only managed two hits the rest of the way out in the Game 1 loss.

Wheeler went 2-for-2 with a pair of walks as Poole and Bryce Williams (Ridgeland) would be the only other players to get hits in the loss.
