BOONEVILLE, MS - Trailing 4-2, the Indians (10-8, 0-2 MACJC North) a single by Andy Bowman (Memphis, TN) and an one-out walk issued to Tanner Poole (Amory) sparked a three-run rally in the top of the sixth.

Bowman scored on a throwing error after Austin Welch (Hamilton) reached on an infield single. Gable Butler (Tishomingo) doubled to score Poole before Welch scored on a wild pitch to give the Indians a 5-4 lead.

Northeast rallied to tie the game in the bottom half of the sixth.

Hayden Williams (Amory) reached on a fielder's choice and Cameron Coker (Germantown, TN) got on via an error and was replaced by courtesy runner Anthony Mallard (Verona), but both runners were left stranded in the top of the seventh.

The Tigers loaded the bases after a pair of singles and an error on a sac bunt before a questionable walk was issued on a 3-2 pitch that Coker never moved his glove on allowed Northeast to score the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

The Indians left eight runners on base, six in scoring position, allowing Northeast to sweep the Indians for the first time in Coach Rick Collier's 13-season career.

Ethan Gill (Pontotoc) went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a RBI while being hit by a pitch in the loss.
