Indians lose shootout with Ellsworth, 9-8

MILLINGTON, TN - The Indians lost a shootout against Ellsworth, 9-8, at USA Stadium in Millington, TN on Tuesday.
The Indians jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, but Ellsworth answered with 5 runs in the top of the second.
ICC got an RBI single by Bryce Williams (Ridgeland) in the bottom of the fourth and pushed across three runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Drew Wheeler (Mooreville), a walk by Andy Bowman (Memphis, TN) and when Luke Gibbs (Oxford) scored on a wild pitch to make it a 9-8 game.
Ellsworth got a three up, three down inning in the bottom of the seventh to hold on for the one-run victory.
