FULTON, MS – Mother Nature has thrown another wrinkle into the final week of the baseball and softball regular seasons at Itawamba Community College.

ICC baseball coach Rick Collier announced Wednesday morning that Saturday's doubleheader against Holmes Community College (18-24, 8-14 MACJC North) was moved to Friday due to inclement weather expected to move into the North Mississippi area on Saturday.

The first of the two-game set is schedule to begin at 1:30 with a ceremony recognizing sophomores playing their final regular season game at Roy Cresap Field.

The Indians (21-21, 11-11 MACJC North) can lock their 14th-straight playoff appearance by winning one of two against the Bulldogs. A sweep by Holmes matched with East Mississippi Community College (19-23, 9-13 MACJC North) sweeping Coahoma Community College (5-33, 3-19 MACJC North) would result in a one-game playoff game between ICC and EMCC for the final spot in the playoffs.

The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) baseball playoffs are scheduled to begin Friday, May 3rd with the top two teams in the North and South hosting the third and fourth place teams from the opposite division in a best-of-three series to advance to the state tournament starting Thursday, May 9th to be hosted by the top South Division winner.

Listen live to the game on WAFM 95.7 FM (Amory) starting with the Davis Ford Pregame Show at 2:10 p.m. and will be available online at www.fm95radio.com and www.ihigh.com/iccathletics.
