FULTON, MS -- Itawamba Community College head baseball coach Rick Collier announced the Indians' (10-12, 2-4 MACJC North) Saturday home non-division doubleheader against East Central Community College (11-12, 4-2 MACJC South) has been pushed back to Sunday and will be a road game due to inclement weather expected to move into the North Mississippi area.

"We looked at the forecast and saw where they wouldn't be getting a lot of what we are expected to get and thought this would be the best chance for us to be able to play without having to scratch together a make-up date later in the season," said Collier.

Opening pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Decatur on Sunday with Game 2 to follow.

"We need to play every chance we get," Collier commented. "This team has yet to live up to anything near their potential, but we are going to find a group of guys that want to play and will do whatever it takes to win so we can turn this thing around."

The Indians will host East Central on Wednesday, March 17 starting at 3:00 p.m. with Game 2 to follow at Roy Cresap Field.
