FULTON, Miss. - After a two-and-half hour fog delay, the ICC Bass Fishing Team started its season on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga. in mid-February.
The duo of Parker Humber (Tuscumbia, Ala.) and Carlos Welch (Baldwyn) weighed in at 16.9 pounds anchored by two six pounders to finish in 12th place in the 188 boat derby. The 12th place finish guaranteed Humber and Welch a spot in the 2019 Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) National Championship, making them the first team from ICC to qualify for the championship.

The next tournament is scheduled for this Saturday, March 3 at Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Ala. before heading to Paris, Tenn. for a three-day event starting on Friday, March 9 at Kentucky Lake for their first Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) tournament of the season.
The Indians will hit some familiar waters on April 6-7 as they participate in a Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS) event at Columbus Lake in Columbus and again on April 19-21 for their second-straight BASS event at Pickwick Lake in Florence, Ala.
On May 5, the team will travel to Dayton, Tenn. to Lake Chickamauga for their third FLW event of the season before traveling to Jefferson City, Tenn. on May 10-12 to take on the waters of Lake Cherokee, another BASS event.
