ICC Softball Complex

Itawamba Community College's Indians play their home games in the Softball Complex, which was completed in 1986 and renovated in 2017.

The lights, which were installed in 1986, allow the Indians to schedule later games for fan accessibility. It joins the Davis Event Center (basketball), Roy Cresap Field (baseball), Eaton Field at Lambert Stadium (football), the soccer complex and Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts to give Itawamba Community College one of the finest group of athletic facilities for a community college not only in Mississippi, but in the entire southeastern United States.

The complex, located on the northern end of the ICC Fulton campus on Tombigbee Street, showcases one of the top playing surfaces (Bermuda overseeded by perennial rye grass) in the entire league. A grounds crew, including Itawamba Community College athletic fields' supervisor Kirk Sheffield and his crew is responsible for the field maintenance of the ICC Softball Complex.

Aside from the field, the facility has numerous luxuries including dugouts, grandstand seating for nearly 100 fans, an electronic scoreboard and fan amenities such as restrooms and concessions. Additional seating is available on a concrete sidewalk behind the backstop from dugout to dugout. A spacious, air-conditioned press box features a public address system with stereo equipment. The outfield fences are positioned at 205 feet all the way around.

In 2017, ICC expanded the dugouts and added restrooms for the players. Other updates included: leveling the playing surface, new scoreboard, bullpens next to both dugouts, a batting cage and new fencing.

The field and grandstands are positioned between the College's intramural fields and the Tennis Complex and share the parking areas. In addition, spectators have an opportunity to enjoy the view looking up to the bluff area on the back of the campus.

The locker areas are located in the nearby state-of-the-art Davis Event Center and in case of inclement weather, the Indians work out in the fitness center and/or the indoor hitting facility.
