Itawamba Community College
Dr. Chad Case, a proud alumnus of Itawamba Community College, currently serves as the Dean of Students and Athletic Director. With a career spanning more than two decades in collegiate athletics and student services, Dr. Case brings a deep commitment to student success both on and off the field.

Coaching Career
Dr. Case began his coaching career as an assistant baseball coach at ICC from 2002 to 2007 before taking over as head coach of the ICC softball program from 2008 to 2011. During his tenure, he led the Indians to new heights, including the program’s first-ever appearance in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament in 2010. He earned MACJC North Division Coach of the Year honors that same year and guided teams to North Division championships in 2008 and 2010. He finished his softball coaching career with an impressive 103-47 overall record.
Playing Career
A former ICC baseball standout, Dr. Case played for the Indians from 1999 to 2000 after redshirting at Mississippi State University (1997–98). He continued his playing career at the University of West Alabama from 2000 to 2002.
Leadership & Service
Following his coaching career, Dr. Case served as ICC’s Director of Housing from 2012 to 2022, playing a key role in enhancing student residential life. In 2022, he was named Dean of Students and Athletic Director, where he continues to impact student-athletes through leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
Personal Life
Dr. Case and his wife, Lacey, reside in the area with their three children: Emma Jaymes, Cameron, and Sadie.
